Maca and Sexual Function:đŸ„°đŸŒ±

Maca has gained attention for its potential to improve sexual function. Traditionally maca has been referred to as a plant to improve fertility and as an energizer. According to different reviews, maca had a  positive effect on sexual dysfunction or sexual desire in healthy menopausal women or healthy adult men.

Maca, is also called as “Peruvian ginseng” or “Plant Viagra”, and it has been consumed worldwide as a health functional food, enhancer of male fertility , aphrodisiac, immune-stimulant, and anabolic or hormonal balancer.

Maca extract is way more potent than Maca Powder. The authors showed that maca extract significantly improved the self-rated sexual desire score. The effect in this study was as early as 14 days of treatment for the maca extract compare to 8 weeks for gelatinized maca powder.

This is why we use Maca Extract and Ashwagandha Extract in our Premium Sea Moss Gel.

Maca and Sperm Function:

Experimental and clinical studies indicate that maca consumption may increase in men:

  • Sperm count
  • Seminal volume
  • Sperm motility

However, maca does not appear to affect serum hormone levels. Research suggests that maca's mechanism of action on sperm function may involve factors other than hormonal regulation.

Maca as an Energizer:🔋

Maca has been associated with reduced depression and anxiety scores and perceived as an energizer in healthy individuals.

After consuming Maca extract for 14 days, cyclist have seen significantly improvement in 40 km cycling time performance.

In summary, scientific evidences suggest that maca may be an energizer and taking Maca regularly is known to slow the disease progression of chronic neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and etc.đŸ’Ș😊
